These terms cover your use of Match Cut (matchcut.in and app.matchcut.in), run from Bangalore, Karnataka, India. By creating an account you agree to them. Questions: support@matchcut.in.

What Match Cut does

You upload video footage; Match Cut plans and renders an edited video with music, title cards, thumbnails, a title and chapters, and returns it for you to download. Edits are produced automatically. Review every edit before you publish it.

Your account

Give accurate details and keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your account. One person per account.

Your footage and your rights

Upload only footage you own or have permission to use. You keep all rights to your footage and to the finished edits. You give us permission to store and process the footage only to make, deliver and fix your edits. Don’t upload anything illegal, sexual content involving anyone under 18, content that harasses or endangers others, or footage that breaks someone else’s rights. We may refuse or delete such content and close the account.

Music

Some edits include background music from licensed music libraries. Each edit lists the tracks it uses. Check the music terms shown with your edit before you monetise the video; you can always replace the music with your own.

Privacy blur

Number-plate and face blurring is automatic and can miss things. Check the edit before publishing; you remain responsible for what you publish.

Plans and payment

Plans are paid in advance for one month, three months or a year, through Razorpay. Prices are shown in rupees without GST; GST is added and shown before you pay. Plans do not renew automatically. Plan limits (minutes of footage per edit) are shown on the pricing page. Refunds follow our refund policy.

Availability

We work to keep Match Cut running, but edits can be delayed, for example when the editing machine is offline. If an edit fails, tell us and we will run it again or refund it under the refund policy.

Liability

Match Cut is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profits, lost data you didn’t keep a copy of, or how a video performs on YouTube.

Changes and law

We may update these terms; we’ll email you about important changes. These terms are governed by Indian law, and courts in Bangalore have jurisdiction.
